Equivalent Exchange Equestrian Academy is a riding, training, boarding, and event facility located on Willowdale Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia established August, 2021. All lesson horses are rescued and rehomed horses and we encourage others to rescue and adopt as well.  Our trainer is a certified horse trainer and currently working on her riding instructor certification. She trains horses and riders and specializes in bit-less riding, bridle-less riding, working with “difficult” horses, timid horses and riders, beginner riders, and young riders.  English riding lessons are offered on our school horses. You can also take lessons on your own horse.

Once we establish our riding and training programs, we will also offer non-mounted classes like first time horse owner, safety around horses, grooming/general care, and liberty training. When our facilities are complete, we will have the ability to host horse show, clinics, and other events. All are welcome at Equivalent Exchange, no matter your riding or experience level.
