Equivalent Exchange Equestrian Academy (EEEA) is a riding, training, boarding, and event facility located at Willowdale Farm in Fredericksburg, Virginia. Our trainers have over 30 years of combined experience and focus on creating a safe and confident experience for both horse and rider. Whether your goals are to trail ride, jump, ride endurance, fox hunt, event, ride bit-less or bridle-less, do liberty work, learn R+ training techniques... EEEA can help you get there.
English riding lessons are offered on our school horses. You can also take lessons on your own horse. Haul-ins are welcome.
All are welcome at Equivalent Exchange, no matter your age or experience level. Become a part of our all-inclusive riding community!

Off Site Shows & Schooling Opportunities
Riders in the lesson program who ride 2 or more times per week are eligable to participate in off-site horse shows, schooling, and other events.
EEEA Riders attend horse trials, hunter shows, jumper shows, CCE clinics, jumper derbys, dressage shows, XC schooling, clinics, and more!

Willowdale Farm
Willowdale Farm is home to Equivalent Exhcange Equestrian Academy (EEEA) and Campfire Critters Animal Sanctuary (CCAS). EEEA can board up to 30 horses with 12 school horses available for lessons and/or leases. The sanctuary is home to over 50 pigs and a variety of other animals including mini horses, donkeys, horses, goats, cats, cows, small animals, and sheep.
At Equivalent Exchange Equestrian, our mission is to promote and teach safe riding and horsemanship techniques to people and horses of all ages as well as provide premier boarding and event facilities.
Our top three priorities: safety, trust, and balance between horse & rider. The partnership is an equivalent exchange.
